Movement is essential to recovering from back injuries as well as many types of joint pain.  BackQuatics is a safe and therapeutic program because the activities take place in water.  Water is an ideal media to stretch and move when focusing on back and joint pain for several reasons:

Water supports the body and reduces stress and strain on joints and disks during moving

Temperature – pool water is cooler than body temperature and it assists in shrinking inflammation

Water allows you to safely move your body, stretching muscles, joints, and vertebrae, in ways you can’t, lying down on the floor, or standing.
